What is Ride London all about
The Ride London cycling festival was established in 2013 by the Mayor of London as a legacy to the 2012 London Olympic Games. It has already been held over seven editions, making it one of the greatest cycling festivals in the world. It is a hugely popular event that attracts riders of all ages and abilities and is even contested by some of the best riders worldwide. The event is broadcast live by the BBC. The ride covers 100 miles through London and the neighbouring picturesque countryside of Essex. The Ride London event also raises funds for various charities.

What to expect from Ride London 2022
The Ride London trail will be family-friendly on traffic-free roads. The ride will pass through some of the iconic landmarks in London and Essex. Essex will also host stages one and two of the newly formed 3-day race on 27-29 May 2022, which will be part of the UCI Women’s World Tour. Visitors can expect to witness some of the best riders and teams in the world battle for honours.
How to participate in the cycling festival
The event has already sold out 10,000 tickets for entries from the UK. Those who want to participate will have to enter a draw where they will be allocated tickets via a ballot by the end of February 2022. International entries will have to wait until the end of 2021 to book tickets.
